Steven Jackson

Steven Elliott Jackson was born and raised in Minto, MB.  He studied  at the University of Regina in Saskatchewan in film and theatre before moving to Toronto where he has been for the past ten years with his partner Todd.  He has been involved in the  theatre community there, working as assistant stage managing and stage managing a number of shows with Stage Centre Productions.   His most recent work was stage managing the play, The Last Rock N’ Roll Show at the Fringe Festival of Toronto in 2011 and writing, directing and producing Brothers And Arms at the Fringe in 2010.  Also, his play, The Dark Part Of The Snow, received a reading at Mount Marty College in Yankton, SD.  He was the recipient of second place at the New Play Contest for The State Of Tennessee at the Fringe in 2007 from among over 70 entries. He is co-producer of Minmar Gaslight Productions with Stephen English with a goal of production at the 2012 Fringe Festival.
